This restaurant is within 5 miles from my house so I go here pretty often. The foods always awesome and just how I ordered it. The salsa alone could bring you here, it's not too hot and tastes amazing, even my 10 year old daughter who hates spicy foods loves the salsa here. The staff is great as well, overall I would recommend for anybody to eat here.
Great food and great staff! If I can add only one critique it would be for them to keep their cheese enchiladas in the oven for just a little longer to melt the cheese more thoroughly.
My husband and I went to Garcia's for the 1st time. We went in and the staff told us to sit down so we did an instantly they brought us chips and salsa... We waited 15 min and the never brought us a menu or offered us anything to drink. We blew it off and said they will come. But nope. Then a couple sat behind us and the got waited right away.. We just walked out. :(
Found this place by accident. Small family rest. in a strip center on the end, so has an outdoor uncovered patio overlooking Kyle Lake Park, which was nice at dusk into night. The rest. is small inside but was very busy and crowded on Friday night. Food was really good, but nothing out of this world. Our test for a Mexican place is how well they do the rice and beans, because most places just throw some bland tasting on the plate. These were actually very good and had their own unique flavor. I had their "Famous stuffed chili rellano" and it was very satisfying. Salsa/sauce with chips is the liquid style sauce instead of a chunky style; nice difference w/great flavor. Waitress and staff were friendly and pleasant. Rated 3 stars, but would give it 3.5. Reason is not for anything negative, just that it takes exceptional to get 4 or 5 stars from me. Well priced at avg./reasonable pricing for this type. Would definitely return again if in the area.
This is our go-to place here in Kyle for Mexican food. It is fairly priced with good quality food. The only reason I give it a 4 star is because we tend to get togo food here and we are always quoted 15-20mins but we have waited 30 even 45mins ore more on multiple occasions for our to go order. Overall good food.
