Evo Ent.is a great place to have fun yes with children, primarily. But surprisingly, I had anticipated to see more games. It seems like the games were limited. I believe it could do better with more games. So I gave Evo a 4 star lol. Other than that, it's an amazing place.
Watched Justice League and the movie was freezing at certain points similar to a streaming movie. I was impressed at how they went out of their way to fix it. They placed us all in another theatre within 15min and refunded all our tickets. The movie was great and no freezing at the new theatre. Was nice to watch this movie for free :-)
Who can beat $7 movie tickets?!? And $5 all day Tuesday. Plus Monday evenings is discount bowling. The staff is always super friendly. Our church uses Evo on Sundays and so they have staff who come in extra early to let us in and they never seem to be upset about it. They are always the nicest people which makes the whole experience rock. I never want to go to another theater, not even ipic (which I am a total fan of) or Alamo because Evo provides a great service for a ridiculously amazing cost and it's right down the road. With kids, it's hard to go out because it cost money, so Evo makes it a lot more do-able and budget friendly. I'm so thrilled my kids are going to grow up with this as a regular part of our lives, a place they will always remember going to for family fun nights.
Also in the summer they do a special where once a week they have a kids movie playing that cost a dollar to get into or you can buy a bundle deal for the whole summer. It's a great opportunity to beat the heat and entertain your kiddos for a really great price.
This a a fun place and the food turned out to be delicious, the beers large and the food and drink prices very reasonable. We found the game room to be a bit expensive ($10 barely lasted about 10 minutes), and while the bowling lanes are great for a mindless outing, the lack of oil will cause frustration for those who hook their balls.
Always a good time to be had at EVO'S! LIKE most theatres the price of concessions seems a little high. And with 5 kids it hits me hard! But the theatres are always clean, the bowling is fun and there is something for everyone. Full bar and restaurant, but the restaurant needs a little work on their menu. At least you can take your food into the show with you.
