I had an excellent experience with this car rental place. They went above and beyond and were extremely friendly and courteous.

The car itself was excellent as well- clean, well-maintained and ready to go when I needed it. Price was good.

Reserved a car while I had my car dropped off for service at a dealership 15miles away. Dealer drove me to Avis, no cars available despite having a confirmation. Luckily I had the driver wait for me. I had to return to the dealership and take my car out of the shop. Spoke to Brandon, territory manager for Avis. He tried everything to fix this, but I already left Avis and had my car. Only way to redeem this situation is to have a car dropped off when I drop off my car at the shop at a later date. That's the minimum that should be done. Hate to rate anyone lower, but for now, I can't rate this any higher. A courtesy call from Avis would have avoided a wasted trip and bad experience.

Always reliable and hassle free. This past week was the second time we've used Avis in Kyle and we will continue to do so.

I will go out of my way to rent from here in the future. They are really a cut above.

They were very flexible with pick up and drop off times- The employee even stayed an over an hour late just to help me. I don't know who the other reviewer dealt with, but Kyle Jones was fantastic.

I was scheduled to pick up a 12 passenger van on March 11th. I called a month prior and the week prior and spoke to an employee about changing the time for pick up. Both times, the employee said it would be no problem and just to call the morning of. I called right at 9:00 the morning of and had a 5 minute phone call with the people of avis to let them know I would be late to pick up. The woman I spoke to said not to worry, it is comany policy to hold it for 15 hours. I said Are you sure? Is there anything else I have to do, she said no. I went to pick up the van 3 hours after the scheduled pick up time and was notified that they had given away my van and there was nothing they could do for me because I was late. I explained to the man that I called earlier and he explained that because I did not speak to him specifically, he did not have to honor my confirmation.

The employee did absolutely nothing to try and write his wrong and I am completely disappointed in the service provided. I had to pay an additional $65 to add a second driver since I would now have two cars to drive and 2 cars to fill up while on our road trip.

Picking up my rental was super fast and no hassle. Noticed there was no walk around but Iwas in a hurry. On my way home my rental kept hydroplaning so I pulled over and noticed that there was absolutely no tread on the tires. I brought it to the attention of an associate and he absolutely dismissed me and said he had no control over it! Not even an apology. The same associate was extremely rude to a gentleman who's reservation was not honored. The gentleman was unbelievably restrained and just walked out. I won't be doing business with these folks again. I just hope no one gets hurt in that vehicle because I have a feeling it was rented again without replacing those tires.

I was left having to pay over $300 more than my original confirmed price of $503 to rent 2 vehicles since our van was given away. I spent from 1:30 PM to 5:00PM trying to get a rental so my family wouldn't have to suffer for Avis's lack of professionalism. My family deserved their Spring Break vacation and Avis took well over $400 of my family's Spring Break budget because they didn't honor their policy. I will never rent from them again.

Worst experience ever!

I got a call from the employee March 12 at 8:50 letting me know that they finally had a van available. I told him that wasn't necessary because I had to get 2 cars to get my family moving to keep our reservations and keep from paying additional hotel costs for not showing up. He says to me, "All I can say is, I'm glad your family is on your trip."
